Karting Champion Colin Spatorico Joins Pontello Motorsports as House Driver

Pontello Motorsports has announced the addition of Colin Spatorico as an official House Driver for the 2026 season. A proven dirt karting competitor with championship credentials on both sides of the border, Spatorico earned this opportunity through sustained success, disciplined racecraft, and professional conduct on and off the track.

Well known throughout the Niagara and Western New York karting scene, Spatorico brings years of high-level experience, refined technical understanding, and a consistent results-driven approach that aligns directly with Pontello Motorsports’ commitment to long-term driver development.

Merrittville Speedway & Regional Success

Colin Spatorico has been a regular front-runner within the Merrittville Speedway Karting Club, competing in highly competitive Senior divisions and consistently appearing near the top of feature results and season standings. Merrittville’s tight racing, changing track conditions, and deep fields reward patience and adaptability — qualities that have become hallmarks of Spatorico’s driving style.

Beyond Merrittville, Spatorico has also been a dominant presence at Ransomville Kart Track (“The Little R”), one of the most competitive weekly karting programs in the region. His ability to excel at both venues highlights a skill set that translates across track layouts, surfaces, and rule packages — a critical trait for a House Driver representing the team at multiple facilities and events.

Skill Development & Consistency

What separates Colin Spatorico from many successful racers is not just speed, but how he applies it over the course of a race night and an entire season. Known for smooth inputs, calculated passes, and effective tire management, Spatorico excels when tracks slick off and races are decided by discipline rather than aggression.

His ability to provide clear, technical feedback on chassis balance and track evolution allows teams to make meaningful adjustments throughout a race program. That consistency — both in driving style and communication — has been a defining factor in his long-term success.
